Personal Kids Pizzas

Makes four 6 inch pizzas
Entrees

I think it's important for a vegan child to have some 'normal' meals every once in a while so they don't feel like they're missing out on anything. This recipe makes 4 personal pizzas but feel free to double it and freeze the extras (once you start freezing your homemade pizzas, you'll never buy store bought frozen ones again)! This pizza was a hit with my son - I'm really happy I can create healthy foods that he likes!

  • 1 recipe Melty White Pizza Topping
  • 8 tbsp your favorite Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 recipe Simple Pizza Dough
  • Prepare pizza dough and refrigerate until ready to use. Next prepare the melty white pizza topping and set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 450 F and place pizza stone inside. You want to make sure the stone is nice and hot by the time you bake your pizza.
  • Remove pizza dough from the fridge and divide into 4 equal portions. Roll or stretch each one into a 6 inch circle. Sprinkle a generous amount of cornmeal on your pizza peel and gently place your uncooked pizzas on it. You should be able to fit 2 or 3 on the peel. Top each pizza with 2 tbsp of tomato sauce and spread it evenly around with a spoon. Drizzle 2-1/2 tbsp of the white sauce on top of the sauce.
  • Gently ease your pizzas off the peel onto the pizza stone and bake for 8 minutes.
